Michael Candelario is the epitome of a successful entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of Original Goods, a national cannabis firm with holdings in eight states, and is known among business circles as an analytical thinker and troubleshooter. One of the many ways he stands above his competition is the way he embraces challenges and absorbs everything around him as a learning experience. He is an avid reader and attributes some of his methodologies to mentors throughout history, such as Albert Einstein, who said “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them.” Michael’s methodology towards problem-solving emulates that line of thinking. First, he identifies an issue, then he contemplates solutions and assesses their potential. Once he executes a plan, he always follows up to re-evaluate its effectiveness over time.

Michael bought his first home when he was 18 years old and has since bought and sold over 1,500 properties.

 Originally from Homestead, Florida, Michael spent most of his youth as a military brat, moving all along the East Coast with his family. As the eldest of five brothers, Michael instantly showed a natural aptitude to lead and educate people from an early age. Michael endeavors to be the best version of himself and always strives to inspire those around him. He encourages others to reach their fullest potential and achieve great things, and he celebrates them when they do. 

Michael considers himself to be a perpetual student, always eager to absorb new experiences and projects. He chose to study real estate development, finance, and entrepreneurship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Virginia Military Institute. Following graduation, Michael enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he spent five years serving his nation. Michael was the Honor Graduate and the first in his class of over 380 Marines to graduate from Parris Island Boot Camp.

Michael’s proudest accomplishments include being named one of the Top 30 under 30 Texas Realtors, earning a Brewmaster certification in Germany, and launching Puerto Rico’s first permitted cannabis production and dispensary. In his free time, Michael Candelario is a Green Bay Packer fan, national park enthusiast, self-proclaimed coffee aficionado, and dedicated family man.
